UFO Drum Mower Details
- The UFO Drum Mower range consists of manual swingback models, hydraulic lift and trailed models. Cutting widths range from 1.6 to 3.4 meters (5’3″ to 11’2″).
- The 3 point linkage mounted models have optional spreaders that spread and lift the crop thereby reducing the need for an additional pass to tedder the crop. The spreader provides a conditioning effect which significantly reduces drying times and avoids the significant loss of plant sugars associated with conventional conditioning equipment.
- The heavy belt drive systems used to power Reese Drum Mowers avoids expensive maintence common to most mower types, and enables long periods of low cost operation.
- Routine service and maintenance work can usually be carried out by an operator with reasonable “hands on” abilities and a reasonable farm workshop. Special tools are not usually required.
